The Kiwanis Club of St. Andrews - Katy's Cove

The Kiwanis Club of St. Andrews supports Katy's Cove

Warm saltwater, supervised, sandy beach, washrooms, change houses and beautiful playground. For those looking for a good place to swim in St. Andrews, Katy’s Cove is the preferred location. The beach lies well within the town limits just behind the famous Fairmont Algonquin Resort.

Steve Raaflaub, left, as one of his final duties as president of the Kiwanis Club of St. Andrews, presents a cheque for $3,000 to Tim Henderson, Town Manager of St. Andrews, towards the ongoing maintenance of Katy's Cove. The presentation was made at the club annual Charter Night held Oct. 16, 2007 at the New Brunswick Community College.

The second annual Hawaiian Night was held at Katy's Cove in Saint Andrews on July 28, 2007 - but rain kept most people away from the outdoor barbecue and dance hosted by the Town of Saint Andrews at its saltwater beach. The Kiwanis Club of Saint Andrews was asked to volunteer.

Ready to welcome guests are, from left, Steven Raaflaub, president of the Kiwanis Club of Saint Andrews; Mayor John Craig, and Katy's Cove lifeguards Kayleih Robertson and Anna Keating.
